PROJECT BRIEF

Based upon our initial phone consultation, our Pre Construction Team will meet with you to discover your dream home design pathway. We’ll explore every detail, from your desired outcomes and life requirements to your budget constraints. Together, we’ll map out a blueprint that turns your vision into reality.

We will ensure that you are fully informed of the Claridge Construction process and understand how, as your chosen building team, we are committed to walking alongside you every step of the way on your building journey. You will be then presented with the option to proceed with our services and engage in a Preliminary Services Agreement/ Stage 1 (PSA1).

Step 2

Creating the design

CONCEPT AND FEASIBILITY

With your PSA1 engaged, we are ready to proceed with your project design. Everything is centred around your requirements and lifestyle goals. The Pre-Construction Team will work alongside you to ensure your needs and expectations are met while always keeping the design brief and budget in mind. The outcome documentation you receive is a concept plan, 3D Render, and Sales Estimate.

Once you have approved your concept plans and sales estimate, you will be presented with the Preliminary Services Agreement 2 so that we may formally begin the process of achieving Planning, Building and Development Approvals.

Step 3

Approvals & Interior Design

FIXING THE PRICE

We are now ready to work together on the next exciting stage of building your dream.The fun begins as you meet with our professional Interior Design consultant team. You will be personally guided through the Selection Process to ensure your home ‘ticks all your boxes’ and will have the look, feel and style you envision.

At the same time, we work professionally and cost-effectively to complete all the necessary documentation. This will resolve all compliance issues and variables.

Including:

Working drawings
Engineering (structural/foundations/retaining walls/site drainage)
Framing layouts and list
Joinery Design
Interior Designer Schedule
6 Star Energy Assessment
CITB Levy

Upon receiving Full DA and completed Interior Design Schedules, we can collate and present your
completed project documentation and a fixed-price contract.

Claridge Construction uses the current Housing Industry Association Plain Language Building Contract to ensure you are fully aware of all conditions affecting your interests.

Step 4

The dream comes alive

CONSTRUCTION BEGINS

Bringing your dream to reality takes a team effort. You will have a direct relationship with our Site Management Team, who will coordinate the entire project and ensure it is professionally delivered. The Site Management Team schedules and manages your entire project, ensuring your new home is built using the best quality trades and suppliers.

Your Site Manager will regularly contact you concerning scheduling updates and inform you of significant building stage completion and subsequent construction progress payment requirements. You will be provided weekly site progress reports and arrange timely build inspections. Your Site Manager will be your direct contact for site-based questions or concerns during construction.

Time to live the dream, trouble-free

HANDOVER AND MAINTENANCE

It is an exhilarating moment when we arrive at the handover stage of your build. Together, we will recognise the journey we have taken together from concept to completion; it’s time to enjoy your new home and lifestyle!

We will meet with you to congratulate you and celebrate this incredible milestone. At this celebration, you will be presented with your keys, certificates, warranties, and a guide on maintaining your home.

We take great pride in the homes we build and stand by our work. Our daily interaction may be over, but we’re not going anywhere. We value you, your family and the beautiful home we have crafted together. Therefore, we guarantee our work beyond the industry standard for general maintenance from 3 to 6 months and will eagerly respond to any questions, concerns or feedback
